Catherine Wynne, Interim CEO
Catherine Wynne, Interim CEO, graduated from Mt. St. Mary’s College in Newburgh, NY with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. During her 23-year career, she managed a busy operating room under both routine and emergent conditions. This included coordination between many departments, doctors and ancillary staff. Ms. Wynne is now the Nurse Manager of an energetic Endoscopy Unit and is in charge of overseeing the architectural design and construction for a state of the art Endoscopy Suite. In addition to her dedication to her nursing career, Ms. Wynne has a strong dedication to the success of the Sharkstopper product.
Brian Wynne, EVP of Operations
Brian Wynne, Executive Vice President of Operations, graduated from the State University at Farmingdale, New York with an Associates Degree in Data Processing. From there, he went to the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York, where he majored in Computer Science. Mr. Wynne then began working at Standard Telephone, Inc. based in Long Island, New York. While employed at Standard, he managed 15 electronic technicians. He was also employed as a systems analyst at Wang Laboratories, Inc. in New York, NY, where his territory included the Banking District of New York City. Mr. Wynne's past experience in electronics, computers and management has helped him create Sharkstopper, LLC. He has been granted three patents for his acoustic shark repellent system. He was also granted a trademark for the name "Sharkstopper".
Ralph S. Collier, Consultant
Ralph S. Collier is founder and president of the Shark Research Committee, a 501 c-3 non-profit scientific research corporation formed in 1963. Ralph was involved in a cooperative study of Pacific coast shark attacks with Dan S. Miller, Senior Research Biologist at California Department of Fish and Game (1970-1981). Mr. Collier was also the first researcher to describe in literature the “oddity” of a white shark rolling its eyes during a predatory attack (1981) and the significance of white shark attack “recurring locations” (1991). As a media consultant, he has appeared in more than two dozen Discovery Channel, National Geographic and independent production documentaries about sharks and their behavior. Mr. Collier is a valued consultant to Sharkstopper, LLC. His recent work with the Sharkstopper team was in 2006. The fall of that year brought him and the Sharkstopper team to the Isle of Guadalupe, Mexico to study Sharkstopper’s patented acoustic technologies effect on the Great White Shark.
Dr. Erich K. Ritter, Consultant

Dr. Erich K. Ritter is the world’s leading authority on in-water shark-human interaction with special emphasis on bite analysis and reconstruction. His work focuses on approach patterns and bite motivations of sharks and the influence of human activities prior or during an encounter. Dr. Ritter developed the world’s first shark-human interaction concept, called ADORE-SANE, to qualify a shark’s likely intention and the main influencing factors of a situation (“constellation of factors” concept). Dr. Ritter is the head of SERC, the shark education and research center, in the Bahamas that entirely focuses on applied research and also offers interaction courses for professional rescue groups and the general public. He is also the executive director of SAVN, the shark accident victim network, a non-for-profit organization to help bite victims, and a pro bono consultant and investigator on shark bites. Dr. Ritter is the author of three books on shark behavior, interaction and accidents. Dr. Ritter’s research station will be made available to Sharkstopper for studies, testing and endorsement.
Joseph A. Creen Jr., Financial Consultant
Mr. Creen has been a close personal friend to Brian Wynne, founder of Sharkstopper, LLC, for over 30 years. He has lent his services as a financial consultant to Sharkstopper. Mr. Creen's last job was with Van Der Moolen (VDM) Specialists, LLC, New York, NY. He was the head of floor operations for this firm operating at the New York Stock Exchange. He managed 52 people on the floor of the exchange. He provided risk management, performed P & L, and served as an agent, catalyst, and auctioneer in the electronic and open-outcry marketplace for high-profile accounts such as Pfizer and Hertz Global Holdings. Earlier in his career, Mr. Creen worked for JJC Corporation, New York, NY as Senior VP/Specialist. In this role, he co-ran the floor operations on the NYSE, served as the lead specialist during interviews/presentations to secure new business, and negotiated a deal to acquire Murphy, Marseilles and Smith for $45 million. Sharkstopper, LLC is excited to have Mr. Creen at its disposal. He will play a pivotal role in the future success of Sharkstopper. When Sharkstopper proves it's ready to go public or look to be acquired, Mr. Creen will prove to be invaluable. He has been at the New York Stock Exchange for over 20 years and his numerous contacts in the financial world will help secure Sharkstopper’s future.
